We continue the modular concept in production. The end pieces are the same for all platforms. We manufacture the center sections according to the length ordered. This allows us to further standardize production and manufacture even more efficiently.
With our combined manufacturing expertise, we are able to produce up to 100 TransANT wagons per month. We are also proud of our lead time: an existing TransANT model only takes around one year from order to delivery.
TransANT wagons are manufactured by our experienced partner Dniprovagonmash. At the same time, we manage the entire supply chain and, as TransANT GmbH, are the manufacturer of the wagons. Dniprovagonmash is characterized by its extensive expertise in wagon construction and is responsible for manufacturing the steel structure, assembling, and painting the wagons.

We control and monitor the entire supply chain of our TransANT wagons to ensure that all high-quality production steps are completed on time and according to plan. We therefore consistently implement a dual sourcing strategy: If there is a delay in delivery of a purchased part, a second supplier of the same component steps in to ensure that the handover of your TransANT freight wagon remains on schedule.
Top quality is a matter of course for us and we therefore implement a comprehensive quality management system. To minimize potential sources of error from the outset, we use the same components as often as possible and produce according to standardized processes.
We also make no compromises when it comes to processing. The high-strength lightweight steel used requires comprehensive material and processing expertise, which we at voestalpine have access to at all times.
